Argentinian artist Tomás Saraceno is the man behind the visionary exhibition ‘Cloud Cities’ at the Hamburger Bahnhof in Berlin. Inspired by soap bubbles and the incredible strength and flexibility of spider webs, he has created a plastic garden that hangs in the air. Visitors are invited to interact with the installation, so if in Berlin don´t miss out on this change to float around in giant three-dimentional bubbles.
The exhibition will be on until February 19th, 2012.

The designers behind it is a married couple from Germany, Stefan Diez, furniture designer, and Saskia Diez who makes beautiful jewellery. When making their collection they began with pointing out the basic requirements of a travel bag – durability, protection and light weight – and sought for an appropriate material other than the traditional choices of leather and reinforced textiles. They found Tyvek®, a synthetic paper that is super light but at the same time extremely robust. In addition it’s also waterproof, tearproof and 100% recyclable. Boy, do I want one!
