HEALTH SET TO RELEASE DISCO2 ON JUNE 25, 2010
It has been an open secret for quite a while now, but today the dear City Slang confirmed that HEALTH will release the second issue of their ‘remix disco series’ with Disco2 this summer. The LP will of course feature numerous remixes of tracks from the band’s last year’s stunning Get Color album with CFCF and Pictureplane. And, remixes from the first HEALTH/DISCO LP are on board again joining a list of some of the hottest rising talents across the globe including Small Black, Javelin (both Brooklyn-NYC), the fantastic and mysterious Salem, British electronic favourite Gold Panda and Tobacco (Tom Fec from Black Moth Super Rainbow) among others.
HEALTH did not only get together with the infamous Crystal Castles for another remix (“Eat Flesh”) after the surprising success of the CC’s Crimewave-re-edit, but also went to the studio with legendary producer Alan Moulder, who produced U2’s Pop as well as albums for the likes of Jesus and the Mary Chain, Nine Inch Nails and Smashing Pumpkins. The result is the new HEALTH single “USA Boys”, which will open Disco2. See the complete tracklist, two downloads and release dates below:
